It runs your apps, responds to your clicks, and manages everything happening on your screen. Fast, flexible, and capable of handling almost anything you throw at it.

But it works in sequence. One thing, then the next, then the next.
Think of it as one brilliant person. Give them any problem and they'll solve it. But they can only work on one thing at a time.
