The model still remembers nothing

The model has not gained a private memory of the earlier chat.

The application still sends the conversation. The serving system may reuse working results for its beginning. Remove the earlier messages from the request, and the model cannot recover them from the prompt cache as memories.

The cache belongs to the machinery around the model.

It is efficiency, not recollection.
