That last slide had the most moving parts of anything in this course, so let us set the machinery down and say the whole thing in one slow breath. You do not need the three card names. You need the shape.

Every word in the sentence is a little person in a room. Each one holds up a note saying what it is looking for, wears a badge saying what it is, and carries a folder holding what it actually means.

To understand any one word, that word looks around, finds the others whose badges best match its note, and pulls their folders into itself. The better the match, the more of that folder it takes.

That is attention. A word becomes a blend of the words that matter to it, chosen by how well they match what it was looking for.

And remember why this is such a big deal, from the chapter before: the matching word's folder gets poured in directly, however far away it sits. No passing the message down a long fading chain. The relevant word reaches across the whole sentence in a single step. That is the wall from chapter one, knocked clean down.

If that shape feels clear, you have the heart of it. The exact names and the rest of the machine are just tidying up around this one idea.
