Take a breath

If the last few slides felt like a lot, let them go. You don't need to hold the machinery in your head.

Here's the only thing that matters: a pile of random numbers, just by being wrong over and over, slowly turned into something that knows things. Grammar, facts, the way ideas connect. Nobody put any of it there by hand. It accumulated, one tiny correction at a time.

Which leaves a strange question hanging. If the model knows things now, where exactly is that knowing? Which number holds it?
