Permissions are different

A local server works with permissions on the computer.

If its process can read a folder, its tools may be able to read that folder. Careful configuration limits which files and commands the server can reach.

A remote server commonly works with account permission. Maya signs in, and the service decides which calendars or records that account may access.

The question is always the same. What can this server really reach?
