Rufus, the LLM, runs on one of the provider’s servers.

He has been trained to find patterns in language and predict what text could come next.

Rufus is not the chat app, the server, or the whole computer. He is one part running on the server.

Tom’s request has arrived, but its words must still be changed into a form Rufus can work with.
