So add a direction

The problem was never the words. It was that a line offers one direction to spread out in, and the four bonds needed more than one.

So give them more. The words can now be dragged anywhere, up and down as well as left and right.

That is the only thing that changed. Same four words, same four bonds, same rule about relatives sitting nearer than strangers. Try it again and see whether the bond that kept snapping still has to.
