Can one line separate this pattern?

The first examples were unusually tidy. Safe meant moving in one direction: darker and larger.

Now imagine a made-up forest with two safe kinds of mushroom. One is small and pale. The other is large and dark.

The forest also contains dangerous mushrooms that are small and dark, or large and pale.

Each mushroom still has one definite place and one known label. But the safe examples now sit in two separate corners.

Can one straight boundary put both safe circles on one side and both dangerous crosses on the other?
