Just a recipe

That was a lot of numbers. You do not need to memorise them or do the arithmetic yourself.

Keep two ideas. An input value says what arrived. A weight says how much it should count.

The neuron multiplies, adds, and checks whether the total is enough.

So far, a person has chosen every weight. The recipe can produce an answer, but it cannot tell whether that answer was right.

To learn, it needs an example whose correct answer is already known.
